Personal banker.
Did not receive cost of living adjustment for 2025.
Started Q4 last year (2024)
Job is supposed to be every other weekend.
I have worked 6 Saturdays in a row.
I made it clear I need better work life balance.
Work life balance has worn me down.
My managers manager met with me today to try to convince me to stay.
We are short staffed.
I asked for proof in writing that I’ll start getting fewer Saturdays.
“We’ll discuss” pay increase in January.
Nothing in writing.
Stay/go?

I worked at Wells Fargo for 25 years. I rarely felt a work life balance. Do what's best for you and don't let the manager make you think they will give you two weekends off monthly.

COLA is never a guarantee! Oftentimes it is withheld when a company is going through hardship.

Still go. They didn't come through

What's the other shop? No guarantee wlb will be better. And if it's Citi, it will be worse.

Sorry to hear of your troubles. listen to your intuition , it will give you the best answer…

I've been an individual contributor for 4 years in Tech, have 8 years of experience total. I'm finding it difficult to make the management transition despite having management experience, performing beyond expectations, and having a genuine passion for enablement and development.

I'd appreciate any success stories or pointers you can offer in regards to this transition.

Hi all,
I have 3.9 years of experience in tcs. Last year i was selected in DCA exam and started receiving elevated incentives. This year i was wrongly given C band and because of that my incentives are now paused. But the thing is my compensation letter still says my ctc is 8lpa. But in my salary slips I'm not receiving according to ctc. Currently I'm serving notice period and told the other company that my ctc is 8lpa. Will there be any issue on bgv when i join next company?

Thoughts on Citi's Leveraged Portfolio Group at the Analyst level? I'm curious if anyone has additional details on the group for an Analyst spot. What does the group focus on in terms of work, what are hours like, decent exit Ops, interview process etc? I'm currently an Analyst in an industry specific Corporate Banking group at a competitor of Citi so I have experience underwriting HY transactions and portfolio management.

Getting paid 85k base with 40k in bonus plus about 35k~ in OT.

Money isn’t everything but in my late 20s it feels like the only thing important right now.

WLB is next to zero as 60hr weeks are the minimum as of late. Management feels like they are trying to push a few of us out. Was told not to expect much come year end for comp. Any suggestions on finding a new role/pay expectations?
