Your #1 covers #4, you won't find a ski resort in a place that isn't reliably under 50F in Nov. Plus, skiing typically requires mountains, and the altitude makes the mountains significantly colder.
Idk how old this map is, but the green and yellow are your spots. Doubtful that a cabin vibe is widely available in any of those locations.
Opting for over 40F would get you a lot more options as most of the country doesn't consider 50F to be winter at all. Also might help to distinguish highs and lows, as the temp really plummets overnight in Nov and only really freezes the morning activities.
My recommendation would be somewhere in the Appalachians, but that's surely too cold.
Happy to help. Asheville was a good rec, but it will likely be under 50 at night. It'll probably be perfect, but could also easily be 70+ or under 50.
You sound like someone that would like LA. Have you thought about a winter beach house instead?
This is interesting. I've been to LA in the spring and summer but not in the fall/winter
Asheville. Possibly north Georgia—like blue ridge. For Asheville you can fly directly there. For blue ridge you would need to fly into Chattanooga or Atlanta and then drive about 2 hours.
Vancouver could answer the mail here.
Vancouver, Toronto, and Ottawa are about the only options in Canada with their requirements.
Mt Tremblant
Where are you traveling from?
Texas
Upstate NY or the Poconos are what I typically do. I have also done Mt. Snow in VT. I live in Jersey though so these are more local for me.
