Please feel free to include any questions or thoughts on your mind in this thread on top of the weekly post. 😃 This week’s question is related to celebration, how have you taken time to recognize your scholars during this school year?

I like to email home. Positive emails are amazing for the student and parents and great equity for me if an issue arises later.

Sanity check needed. We own a home we paid $280k for, 6 years ago. We've begun to outgrow it and are debating building on vs buying.

Building would probably be $350k, would take about 4 months, and would require us to move out temporarily (likely 50-75% of that time), but then we'd have *exactly* what we want. Buying would cost ~$650k (plus $59k in closing costs to sell and buy).

House is worth $400k if we do nothing; addition would likely double value.

What would you do? Build or buy?
