So I had my Senior Partner interview scheduled for today and It went like
For every question he asked me and I give my answer he’s like - “Nice, very good and awesome”.
I didn’t hear anything else in the entire convo and 45 min discussion was concluded in 30 mins.
I’m not able to understand what does it mean was interview good or bad?
I’m so worried now.

Whats otc ? Order to cash ?
No. It’s contractual role. Resource won’t be on their payroll
The work is basically the same. The chance of conversion basically depends on your own performance - I know of at least 3 OTCs who are now PL and above
It’s a good way to get into the firm but conversion chances are less than 5%.
OTC role - great entry point if you are not able to get through regular channel. You work ‘exactly’ on the same problem statement , with same client facing exposure and same set of responsibilities as any other associate/ consultant on the team. Conversion in India office dependent on your performance, how long your OTC stint was (preferable 12-18 months), how good at heart your partner is and how successful the partner is at the firm.
Even if you don’t convert - the brand stays on your resume and exits can be better than any T2 consulting exit imho.
