Honestly, presenting and just reading exactly on the slide is poor presenting and can be boring in my opinion. You know the content - put it into your own words - it’s saying the same thing but may feel more natural to you!
Great presenters know never to read the slides word-for-word. It’s the fastest way to lose an audience.
You know what you’re pitching so keep it conversational and in your own words. You’ll do great!
Go to toastmasters. If you are nyc, we meet on mondays in midtown once a month and then virtually the other Mondays.

Yes, toastmasters. Lots in LA.
It’s always a bad idea to read slides anyway. Only very junior creatives do that. So instead, know what points you need to make to sell each idea, and commit those points to memory.
I’ll also tell you that one of the best CDs I ever had was from El Salvador, had a thick accent and would mispronounce words quite often. But she was smart and passionate and knew the brand well, knew how to sell the work and could engage with clients.
Repeating what people said. Practice. Don’t read slides. Use the notes area to write out out things in your own words if you need it (so you can read off of it during virtual presentations). Practice. Use AI to help with pronunciations.
And don’t forget to practice. Out loud. Not just in your head.

You could probably practice by reading literally anything out loud. But there might be better words than others to sharpen your pronunciation. Probably helpful to read to someone who can gut-check you.
Maybe your CW partner can help you practice before you present and help you smooth it out.
If I have enough time before the presentation it is great. I can practice, but 99% of the time presentation deck is changing til minutes before the presentation. And the ability to adapt quickly is a great skill to have. I personally hate to just read of from the slide but in some cases you have to read a portion of it. Maybe I need to take a presentation class or something.
First of all, HUGE props for being able to present in a second language. 🙌🙌 Second, practice. Standing. Reading out loud. U got this! 👊👊👊
