Flowserve Corp uses the same playbook.
SiteOne is the master at grave emotional injury. They called a Nursery Direct Manager into the branch office. She, like all of the Nursery Direct Managers in California worked remotely. She had been with the company for a decade starting when it was John Deere and a great place to work but had been captured by private equity and became SiteOne. She came into the branch to meet with her new manager and was told to bring her laptop. The manager, couldn’t even give her the respect to be on time. While she was sitting in the office waiting in anxious anticipation of what these numskies wanted, her laptop shut her out. This brutally ignorant manager, earlier in the day had called me to tell me they were letting her go. I was horrified but told specifically not to call and let her know. When she called me from the office after she was locked out and in tears, I had to say something. I felt like Judas. She still thinks I had something to do with it and that hurts but who can blame her. They fired all oof the women in nursery direct the same way. Me they kept until I had trained my own replacement and then effectively did the same thing to me but only after thet took away all of my clients and my entire territory, gave it to a new msle employee and put me on s PIP in her old territory which was a big black hole asnd impossible to service. They’re really terrible people.
