My friend received two job offers for Account Executive roles: a Mid-Market role with Confluent and an Enterprise role with ThoughtSpot. He’s conflicted because Confluent is a more established company, ThoughtSpot is Pre-IPO. Confluent is a lucrative product to sell and has established SDR reps so there’s a good blend of inbound and outbound sales. Thoughtspot is more of a startup culture where most of the sales comes from outbound and it’s a tougher sell.

Forwarded an email that Deloitte S&O isn't recruiting FT or Intern candidates at our core schools anymore this year. Anyone other schools see this?

I was in the copy room one morning and a fellow teacher came up to me and whispered that her friend saw me on Grindr. I played it cool and she said "we have lives outside of school" but it was weird.

I live in a very small rural community. I am trying to start a LGBTQ+ Alliance group for my students. Currently my administration is on board, but you can see the apprehension as I talked with them this morning.

I am not sure how to proceed, they approve but do not want me to be school sponsored "for liability" reasons. How are we supposed to do anything if I can't use the buses, or take them to things sponsored by the LGBT Community? HELP! Please no haters.

Currently at BNY Mellon with 10 YOE, specifically in Corporate Trust working CLO/CDO’s (first job out of college). Good Evening My Fellow Christian Educators! I realize it is going to be challenging for me this year...with so many of my students performing below grade level expectations in ELA and MATH and also ensuring that all students follow the COVID Guidelines in the classroom. I still feel hopeful that God will bless me with the knowledge on how to effectively impact each one of those kids. Let's remember to keep all educators lifted in prayer this year.
