Why does it seem most people always want to switch to something else, e.g another group, another client, another company? Is anyone satisfied with the status quo?

Trying to find recruiting firms to help me find my next project / program management role. I'm struggling to determine which firms can help with PM roles AND I'm struggling to get the ones I do find to respond to me.

It may have something to do where I'm at in my career - 15+ years of PM experience & director-level roles at my last 2 companies - so more exec level but not quite C-Suite. Have one-off recruiters hitting me up on LinkedIn about contract PM roles but that's not what I want.

Hi all. I was recently diagnosed with bipolar disorder type 2 and it’s been hard to heal with the ups and downs of a very competitive sales position in the current market. Before taking FMLA for 12 weeks I was a top performer. Any advice from those that also live with bipolar disorder, or advice on a potentially a less stressful position to ease out of sales? Just started a new Data Analyst position in which I have constant meetings with senior leadership and executives. I have a bad habit of giving too much background info and not getting straight to the point. I just feel like every little detail is important (even though that’s not always the case). Any tips for breaking this habit or just become more efficient with advising?

Does anyone feel that the Oil and Gas industry is the most discriminatory industry of all? They won’t even look at resume without O&G experience! It does not make sense to me as I would rather teach someone the specifics of an industry if they were a good fit. And for an industry that has so many obstacles from Government, Environmental Organizations and so on, why they are adding more bad publicity to themselves is not a great approach.
