Remember when Publicis and Omnicom were going to merge? That was hyped up forever and nothing happened. Not saying it could not happen, but, I will believe it when I see it.
Spoke with Accenture buds. No mention of it in house. Let it go.
Yet to see a valid source
What's your source?
Dude nothing has changed. Lower q3 earnings? No surprise therw
Just did the same - they're saying it's been floating around for a month now over there.
I still am skeptical. Publicis seems like a much better fit for Capgemini than Accenture. I think Accenture could by a smalller holding company but Publicis' size still dwarfs past acquisitions by a lot. Not a lot of synergies either except Publicis.Sapient. Why buy your competition if you're already beating them?
Could buy*
Yeah, source?
How so?
AD1: What you are referring to was all the activity AFTER they announced the merger which eventually fell through. It was all quiet before that.
SF4: Cap and Publicis are friendly in Paris but Cap lacks the financials to make an acquisition of this size. I wouldn't rule out a merger.
That does not change the fact that even it it gains momentum it could fall apart at the 11th hour, just as the Publicis-Omnicom merger did. With that in mind I would not get your hopes up just yet.
Agreed, no one can't predict the outcome on these things (if the rumors are true). If the Onnicom deal had not fallen through then Publicis would probably not have acquired Sapient.
None of us have hopes for this lpl
regulators will shut it down. shear size of the two would cause market distortion. (same reason the omnicom/publicis merger failed )
The Omnicom/Publicis merger blew up over the CFO role. I would be surprised if big egos c
