Put my dog down last night. He’s had seizures for the last 4 years and been taking 9 pills a day. Last night he had a seizure that didn’t stop, irreparable damage. I found him in a storage unit abandoned and 5 years wasn’t enough with him. Absolutely heartbroken, never been through this before. Any advice? His name was Kylo. Called my mom for support who told me “it’s a dog not a human, you’re being immature.” My boyfriend and I could really use some kind words. We’re so lost can’t stop crying.

Throughout my career, I have worked at both “traditional” and “digital” shops. My current agency would fall under traditional but also offers digital services. Our process, roles and skillsets seem way outdated but I wasn’t sure if it was just my opinion or if this is just how it works. For example, we have no CTO or tech leads. Our digital producers feel more like project managers than actual producers. Account Management is just traditional, no real digital knowledge. Feels layered and dated.

I work for a small agency and manage our internal marketing acct. We had very few processes in place when I started. I’ve since created, implemented, and trained our dept. on project mgmt for clients and am trying to convince the owner to apply those principles to our internal jobs. They are resistant because they just want the work to be done and don’t “want to keep spending money on internal jobs”. I’m confused because we’re doing the work either way and “spending” in labor/resources.

Who has made the leap from working/living in the US to abroad? Any words of advice?

They both have the same requirements, generally speaking, including a field immersion course that serves as a capstone in the Master's in Management, which is fairly new. If I am not able to gain admission to Harvard Business School, but wanted a similar educational experience to become a consultant, should I attend Harvard Extension?
