PwC epm - what to stay away from - just joined the group as an audit transfer

Have never invested outside of 401k. Think I may start being able to put ~$500 in the market each month. Where / how do I start?

Getting married in September, have a vax only policy for guests. My fiancé’s sister is bringing her unvaccinated spouse to the hotel where all the wedding festivities are being held b/c she is too scared to fly on an airplane without him. I find this incredibly uncomfortable and selfish given it will put me and my fiancé in an uncomfortable position (and it will also put my elderly parents and other vulnerable fam members at risk). Any ideas as to what (if anything) to do?

What is the best way to structure a discovery call for SaaS sales? e.g. share a deck, only focus on their use case (current state, goals, pain, etc.), share a story, etc. Lastly, how do you go further than surface level, like if they mention they are having issues with xyz, which is usually a symptom of the problem and not the problem itself. Looking to switch to a Senior Tax Advisor consulting role at advisory firm (not B4) with no prior public or consulting experience. Have 8 years of Corporate Tax experience in industry (currently a Senior in healthcare company). New role will be mostly focused on provisions. Any ideas on what salary range should be expected?

Whats the difference between consulting and advisory in terms of job duties, pay, wlb, etc? I have asked this question to many people in both positions, and no one is able to give an actual answer that differentiates the two.
