Hi all. I wanted to ask for some guidance on when to start applying for MBA internships with consulting firms. I recently started a new position and so not want to come off as a job hopper. I currently work as a grants account for a hospital in Philadelphia. I am a first semester MBA student at the moment while also working g on a Goole data analytics certificate. Any tips, recommendations or referral will be greatly appreciated.

Being an ACD is hard. I worry that im not doing a good enough job giving my team credit when we present to the bosses. I worry that im giving them bad direction sometimes. Just need a quick moment to vent! Two weeks ago, I applied for an associate position at a family law firm. I received a response almost immediately from the managing partner, who asked if I was available for a preliminary Zoom interview the very next day. The Zoom interview went exceedingly well, and I was asked to come in for an in-person interview the following afternoon. Hired at a tech company based out of SF for a remote role. I am east coast based - should I have gotten it in writing that the role is and will be remote? It was confirmed verbally multiple times but the offer letter that I signed did not state it anywhere. Consulting wisdom needed. I am putting together internal training on how to be a great consultant when working with clients. I have so far developed a good draft but feel like I am forgetting something important. Wanted to reach out to you for the words of wisdom - what are your lessons learned and advice for beginners? My teammates are drowning and I have finished all my work ahead of schedule and am slow this week. However, when I worked 3 back to back weekends nobody offered to help me. Do I use the slow time to breathe / catch up? or help my team 😶

Is there a difference between 250k salary and 400k salary? Both salaries are watching spiderman on opening night. Both salaries have food on the table and a roof over their heads. One has a 65in tv vs the other has 75in. One drives a BMW the other a Tesla. I make around 250k and to increase my salary I will have to work a lot more. Is it really worth having more money, at some point it is just a number and quality of life doesn't improve. In fact it could be worse with the extra hours.
