Getting ready to take on a project with a local real estate company branding a new subdivision but I haven’t done one of these in a few years and don’t want to undercut myself on compensation.

In one interview today with Kundyl. Their expectation is to be available oncall 24*7... With work from office.

They literally got offended and stared at me for asking about WLB...

Seems companies are not learning, even after the great resignations.. the big names... Like TCS, ibm.. are not doing any changes to their work culture and ethics to improve WLB.

Recently I have been looking for a job switch. I have recieved an offer from a startup company whose client is hpe. HR round was taken by a HPE manager too. They told they have 25-30 employees in hpe. They have other clients like Deloitte, PWC .
He told after 6-8 months of performance I can be in direct payroll with HPE.
So is it a good idea to join ?
Or shall I look for other jobs ? Please help ..

Currently maxed Roth 401k, Roth IRA, HSA, and ESPP at 23 YO, should I consider an after-tax conversion? I’ve read about back-door Roths but I’m still far below the income limit as an analyst. Definitely looking into early-ish retirement, should I just invest the rest in a regular brokerage account until I reach the income limit? Am I even allowed to do a conversion? Hey folks, I'm getting an offer as a SC in EY UK. Presently I'm a manager with EY India (up for SM next yr Oct 2021). Comp is 55k range (haven't officially received the figure, a few more days it's expected, doing some homework before that).

I'll be moving with family. Wife may not immediately start working (,find a new job, we have a toddler daughter as well 2 YO).

I personally don't find this offer commercially attractive. Can someone offer some counter arguments?

My DoJ in the new co. is next monday. As I got a much better offer, I was about to turn down the previous offer and today, I have received the laptop from the firm I am supposed to join next week. How can I politely reject the offer now? Is it even possible?

Moving to NYC from DC. I had planned to come up for a weekend or two to tour apartments. When would be the best time? I thought about a month ahead of needing to move - and then coming back a weekend or two later - would make sense. But I am seeing so many listings on StreetEasy that say the unit is available immediately. Any advice? I joined Accenture 5 months back as a lateral hire ( Level 11 ) and have been a part of a project since day one.

I am not enjoying my work here, no motivation at all. Dreaded to report to work and having stress and anxiety. My manager is trying to micromanage me as productivity is on the lower side.

Another thing is, I have started to dislike my current tech and no more interested in it.

I have got Pre hire survey 10 days back from D (requesting for payslip upload and CTC sheet upload) but I haven't heard back anything after that from them. I have a joining into accenture in next 10 days.

Am I being still considered by D (if not I will atleast join acc) , if so how long it will it take from Pre hire survey to offer release usually in D (for consultant position ) ??

I have got the ey hr mail stating i should provide him with aadhar card, information sheet and latest resume for a audit and assurance contract for 6 months as iam a semi qualified CA.

Here my question is should i take this opportunity. Cause since this is only for 6 months. After that, what i can do, where should I try to get the job?

In mid size firms, people won't pay as much as big 4 pays.

I received an offer from big 4 with 60% hike. My managers wants to retain and I asked them to match if you want me to be retained.
Now I got a call from GPM yesterday. He used harsh words like "being greedy" "selfish" etc and offered me 30% in the end.
I politely declined but he asked me to reconsider as he said "it would be unfair for the org for you to leave so soon."

Let me know a proper response.

Also what do you think of this behavior by GPM?
