Best perks/benefits of working at Google?
Hi all, I am working at Natwest Group RBS and I have recently applied for Product Manager Role(gurgaon) in Gartner. How much CTC I should ask and what is the general hike and bonus they give on yearly basis and can someone provide some insights on work life balance and leave policy?

lol no. Just Christmas and teachers appreciation week. Please let’s not start normalizing giving gifts to others on your kid’s birthdays
Thanks. Was just validating as the teacher was “hinting” that we took him away for the bday without them… so I just wanna make sure there’s no underlying meaning 😆
(And yes, we do only Christmas and teacher appreciation week )
I think they’re just signaling they care about your kid.
You take your toddler out of daycare for a week-long birthday celebration? Please adopt me. To place it into context, my wife asked me where I wanted to eat on Father's Day. I hadn't been to a Chinese buffet since the pandemic, so that's what I wanted. My college age kids refused to go and stayed home.
Aww! That’s so sweet they love your kid that much! I do think they look forward to kids birthdays to break the routine and add fun - usually we bring small treats around the birthday and they give a hat and button and take cute pics of the other kids singing - if not food could send a small toy etc
No I used to send a gift for Christmas and end of year.

We are out of the daycare phase but at my son's school we aren't allowed to bring food goodies to the class any more so now everyone does goodie bags for the class. My son had a friend party and a seperate family party this year so i got to make 3 sets of goodie bags ugh!! But it's what almost everyone in the class does so my son doesn't want to be left out of it. Cupcakes were so much easier!
