Question from my sister in law that I want to post - has anyone ever heard of someone in NY getting audited on their state taxes due to living in NJ when their partner lives in NY? My SIL moved to NY in 2024 but forgot to update her payroll address. Married in 2025. Should she post-update it or just update it now going forward? And if she does married filing separately, but the husband has a NY address and the wife a NJ address how much that might increase their changes of an audit.

Hi All, I have an urgent query regarding TCS BGC process. My issue is that I have worked in X, Y and Z companies.
In X company I worked for 26months but my pf account is there for last 13months, before that my salary was very low so sometimes I got salary in hand or in pay cheque. I do have salary account statement for most of the months except 3-4 months in between my tenure. Will I face any issue for this?

Great question! And without getting too much into monetary policy.... Fed rates are set by the Federal Reserve which banks use to charge each other to borrow money. A lot of times these rates move together, however, a Fed rate increase does not instantaneously change the rates the bank offers.
