Question to those familiar with the recruitment process at Citi. Applied for a role late afternoon yesterday and received a rejection email around 7 am this morning. Trying to figure out if my resume did not pass the ATS screening, or it’s possible that an actual human looked at my application. The position is based in the US, so I guess, unless the recruitment team is based offshore, it had to be ATS?

I’m a PA relocating to Phoenix area and negotiating an offer for home care visits full time. I am wondering if anyone in related field could tell me ballpark range what you are paid. I was considering asking for 142-152k range.

While giving the tech interview as well as while having the HR discussion, I mentioned my expected CTC as 9-10 LPA(CTC). I cleared the interview and uploaded all the documents in the portal yesterday. Today mrng all the document verification was completed. But when I got the call for offer discussion, she asked what u expect. I said 9-10 LPA. She questioned me that on what basis I am asking for this much hike. She offered me 6.3 LPA as CTC with 21% variable. 5.2 as basic. Rest part in comments..

Advice needed on handing in notice, I recently signed an offer letter and understand the screening process takes 4-6 weeks. I have a month's notice period and have agreed a preliminary start date in Feb.

I was planning on not handing my notice in until the checks had been completed so its all secured (not that I think I will fail any checks), but apparently I need a reference from my current employer not previous ones. Can't really do this without handing in notice can I?
