I would be worried if they don’t bark all day long
That’s their signature trait. As a livestock guardian dog, they are bred to scan the perimeter consistently and bark at real and imaginary dangers. Only thing you can do is acknowledge them when they do and maybe they will reduce the frequency
Definite barkers. We love the breed and most of our fosters will either sleep next to the door or spend all night looking out the bedroom window for intruders.
We have a Pyrenees and yep they bark at things we can’t see or hear but thats what they are bred for. Not much you can do, they think the world is their guarding territory so they will protect. It gets better as they get older, ours is 8 and just sleeps all day
I’m sure you pregnancy has something to do with it. The dog knows you are pregnant.
Honestly, I haven't noticed much change in his nature. He still pounced on me like a ninja even when I was 8 months pregnant! 😂 I was kinda expecting him to act all wise and mature, but nope... same old goofball! Lol.
I have a Pyrenees mix and she is very, very proud of protecting our family from mosquitos. Seriously. Barking at the ceiling at 2:00 a.m. because one got in the house. Mommy (me) has to take care of the intruder and praise her -- then she will be quiet. She also alerts me when a roof is being repaired anywhere in a four-street radius, because she can hear the nail guns.

I’m not a fan of these but there are collars that could give him a tiny vibration when he barks. Some have an electric pulse / zap - I wouldn’t do that.
