Recently accepted an offer to join Deloitte’s Customer & Marketing group in the Rosslyn office under Customer Strategy & Applied Design. I have a strong human centered design background and interviewed with the Doblin folks, and was told by the recruiter I will be align to Doblin. However, I noticed Doblin doesn’t have a Rosslyn office, and that the work I’ll be doing is within GPS. Can someone familiar with the org structure shed some light? Deloitte
Deloitte org structure is a matrix of OP (offerings) and Industries. C&M is the offering portfolio, Customer Strategy and Applied Design is an offering in C&M. Doblin is a practice in CSAD (I think) and is an external brand that Deloitte uses to sell work. If you want to do Doblin work go on DPN and find Doblin PPMDs and SMs. It doesn’t matter where folks are located as we have a virtual and national staffing model
Is this structure outlined anywhere? I'm also getting a lot of questions not only on offerings but different models and how they compare and I can't find hardly anything.
What was your $ offer?
It depends on where your client site is / where your team works from. You may work from your clients HQ/office (locations vary), from the Rosslyn office (teams just reserve spots/rooms to work from), or from home

It’s very matrixed but you’re fine! If analyzed Doblin is a 3rd dimension which sits in C&M but is in both commercial and GPS. Also there are a lot of GPS clients that consume Doblin services. It’s essentially the same as Monitor if you’re familiar
Doblin by Deloitte would be apt.
Rosslyn is a GPS only office. If you’re accepting an offer out of the Rosslyn office you’re accepting a GPS offer.
If you have a good skill set you can do whatever you want - folks I’ve seen transfer is north of 80% - how long it took them was another story
You can hyphen in it - I’m in the monitor practice technically but I just say Strategy @ D. Outside looking in it’s very confusing so I make it straight forward. If you wanted you could just do Deloitte-Doblin

Hey congrats! Ex-Dobliner here.
I know that Doblin didn't do too much work in GPS historically but have heard there's a pull for more HCD work in public sector so Deloitte is investing to grow Doblin's presence there. If you look up "human centered design us veterans affairs" you'll see a Doblin deliverable from 2015.
As for LinkedIn, I'd see what peers are doing when you join. I know many people put both Deloitte and Doblin on their LinkedIns.
