L&D professionals, how often do you expect your employees to participate in soft skill training?

A VP wants our employees going through monthly soft skills training on widely divergent topics, mandatory attendance. I think it will feel like a good investment initially, but the employees are going to get overloaded with information and not have an opportunity to put what they're learning into practice leading to poor ROI. It would help to hear other's findings so we can decide. Thanks!

Is it realistic to hope for a coding position with only a CCA, or do most companies want a CCS?

There are many reasons why the current atmosphere for clinicians is a total shit show. What irks me the most is when companies say they treat everyone like “family” but do things like micromanage you or treat you like crap. Currently work for Legacy as a DPT and when my contract is up in a couple of months I’m out of there! Stay away from this company.

I have been notified by my current company that they are giving me an early exit and do not want me to serve 2 months notice period. My joining date in JP is in 2 months. Should I inform the HR regarding this? Would there be any questions regarding early last working day, if I chose not to inform?

For the most part, I would still like to get married. However, practically every married friend that I have is trying to passionately discourage me from ever doing so. I mean, like 80% of them are decrying that this is the worst mistake they’ve ever made, hands down.
