I lived in Dallas and had plenty of friends in the m streets/Lakewood area. Here is where you would want to live:
Thanks so much! Will take a look. Love the proximity to downtown too.
Heights south of 610 is your best bet. Recommend off Studewood near white oak. Montrose would be worth a look as well
How old are your kids? Public school or private school?
No kids and no plans to have one but wouldn’t mind living in an area zoned to good schools for rental / future resale
Many of the doctors working in the Medical Center live in Bellaire or West University area (near Rice University).
Heights proper or bellaire/west U. Very different vibes. Also this is based on other criteria included, no knowledge of Dallas streets. Try to avoid Dallas as much as possible lol
Rice Village is near the medical center if you are going to work in the medical center. Shopping restaurants are near by too.
Thanks we liked Rice U / West U area but wondering if there’s anything similar to these vibes?
@OP, I live College Court place, which borders West U for the last 15 years and I’ll be happy to answer any questions and set you up with an amazing realtor friend of mine! There’s a couple of houses in my neighborhood that are for sale and I love this area!!
Where is this?
Montrose or anywhere west of downtown on inner loop
West U.
West U, bellaire, rice village. I’d stay south of I10 tbh for that specific vibe.
Riverstone where all the rich people live
I think they mean River Oaks. But out of this post’s price range and not the same vibe
Bellaire or West U
