Instacart Saw an opening for senior cost accountant. I had some industry accounting experience prior to specializing in tax at a big 4. I'm looking to transition out of PA and tax, what can I do to help my application stand out? Is it likely they would take a chance on me even if I don't have the exact experience they're looking for? (some background on my qualifications/experience: BS in Business Admin/Finance, BA in Actg., Masters in Actg, CPA with 2.5 years at big 4 and 2 years industry)

Tips for bankruptcy associates who eventually want to move in-house? 3rd year associate in bankruptcy/restructuring group doing mainly bk lit but a few deals too. Need to stay in BL for at least another year for the money, but eventually want to move in-house. The path to in-house seems more straightforward for general commercial lit or more standard transactional practices. How often do temporary "might-become-permanent" type jobs (at small/mid size firms) actually become permanent?

25M, unmotivated to work out because I’m so weak and scrawny. I can’t really develop a habit because I just get discouraged being the weakest person in the entire gym. I don’t really feel comfortable around free weights and I don’t want to waste a personal trainers time either.
