These are some nonsense policies. They need to the better. Still treating us like slaves. We don't have benefits for humans we have benefits for slaves. I don't consider health insurance a benefit we are paying for that no one is giving us anything for free. Stop tricking us we are not that stupid. Those people would kill themselves first before giving to employees anything for free.

I had more time off last year than friends at the same level in Europe and I get paid significantly more.
My health plan was cheaper than they pay in taxes and because of some things specific to my health situation, it was free at point of care (hit out of pocket max early via copay cards.)
I’m hardly a crazy patriotic person. I used to want to work outside the US and could based if I wanted to. Then I did the math: I have just as much time off, just as good healthcare, and significantly more pay than just about any other country gives accountants.
The US is the best place to build a career if you want to work in a white collar job.
How about capping our hours at something less than an infinite amount????

Pwc tried some of these. "Protected time, block an hour each day 🤣🤣 and no video Friday 🤣🤣🤣. Didn't work. You try reminding a partner on a call that it's video free Friday. Hahaha. Funny
We now have Fridays your way. So far this has been a failure too.
This stuff works for leadership, not for minions. We have no voice in any of it and at the mercy of the partners we work for. Doesn't matter what the man says.

Y’all actually go on video ? Was at kpmg and no one did video and now at Deloitte and still no video. Not sure if that’s a real perk
Our Partner demands us to be on video. When we're not we totally get roasted. It so embarrassing.
It depends on the team. My team knows there is no way in hell that I'm logging on before 10am so they already don't bother trying to schedule meetings before that. We literally never use cameras. If you voice your opinion to your team on what you need and they aren't cool about it or willing to set up a schedule that works for everyone then hopefully there is a way you can let them know that they need to do better.

Typically followed. My team tried not to follow some of them because the seniors and staff thought heads down Wednesdays was dumb, but managers enforced it.
