Hii Guys, Could anyone give me some clarity on the below point. I have cleared 2nd round of technical interview at Deloitte, but my candidature is still showing as interview in progress at Deloitte careers page. I had a discussion with HR on this and she told me that next process is pending from management side. It's been almost 10 days since from 2 nd round of interview. My LM is so keen on small small things, not related to coding but documentation and all. Atleast once in a week I'm committing mistakes on small documentation points n he is stressing on same. Are there any chances that my probation will not be extended or is it a clue for me from my LM. He is Looping his LM and asking questions/clarifications.

Gonna say what we’re all thinking - ageism. Take the years of experience off the resume and any identifying age related info (ie, college graduation date or birthday) and see what happens.

As a hiring manager for a large firm (15-20,000 people) I’m looking for very focused experience, because my span of control is narrow. Smaller firms will generally need people with broader experience. I want people who show they take initiative, can do the job I need filled without a lot of training, are flexible in when and how they work, and will fit with the team. And if you have 3 or more errors in your resume and cover letter I’m not interviewing you, because providing final written deliverables that meet exacting compliance requirements is a key part of my teams job.

That is refreshing! I cannot even read the news these days considering most titles have errors in them! It drives me crazy. With the technology we have these days, people feel they have no reason to edit content. It is one of my most frustrating pet peeves.
How much are you asking for? Is it possible that you are outside their pay range. I understand everybody needs to make more money because everything’s more expensive but understand this is true for businesses as well. Our cost of goods have gone up about 40%. It’s hard to stay afloat with those kind of changes.
