I don't know if this is right bowl...but I will ask anyway..I feel insanely attached to my kids...even if they get a minor cut/pain, I assume worst & get really worried to the extent I can't think, eat or do anything. Negative thoughts are taking my life away...my wife feels & I agree that she has lost her place in my life and all I care/love is kids. They take priority in each & everything. This is impacting my personal, mental & social life. Anyone in same boat? If so how do you navigate it.

Folks any tips on helping parents manage finances (not giving them money per se) and their assets. I’m an only child and it’s getting overwhelming managing affairs here and back home.

Do you go see your parents when they are getting surgery?
I've never been afraid of surgery before and my dad's had a bunch (from military). He lives a few states away but I usually get to see him quite often. He's only in his 40s and my mom is with him. The surgery he's about to have is considered high risk. I'm not worried or anything, but it's it customary to go see them when they're having a major surgery? He'll be in-patient for at least a week. Sounds I go after and help my mom? WWYD?

Any other hiring managers feeling like all of your candidates are asking for more money last minute just to see how far they can go? Like if we say the range is 110-130K, they say they’re looking for 135K, you offer 135K and then they say they won’t take the job for less than 150? Not even with competing offers. Biden wants law maker to send him covid 19 hate crime act to sign. There is finally admissions from the highest level of the government that hate crime against asians is no okay. I got really emotional after I read the article in bloomberg about it. We can finally have some justice in a country where people have often tried to downplay racism against asians.
