Just started conversations with an online retailer in Boston (billion dollar company) that’s experiencing rapid growth for a director level role (GM) reporting to a VP.

Anyone has an idea of a typical salary range for this? I checked glass door but there isn’t much available for executive levels at this company.

Trying to move from manager to director of a team that I’ve grown over the last 14 years. It’s a very small team, but impacts almost every deal the company makes.

I’m concerned they’ll say the salary bump I want (25%) is too high, however I see comparable roles with other companies for $175 - 200k.

I’m at $120k, asking for $150k.

Any suggestions to help make my argument, or does this salary even make sense???

About 3 months ago I moved to a new team within my company. The new role came with a higher pay structure and a senior title. My company is currently giving out performance and salary evaluations for next year, and although I had a great evaluation, I received no salary adjustment because I was just “promoted”. While I’m happy with my new team, I can’t get over the fact that I’m not receiving any sort of salary adjustment. It just feels like I’m getting ripped off. Thoughts?
