Anyone from Boston Consulting Group Boston Consulting Group (BCG) working in non-consulting - Technology/Engineering/Global Services?
How's the work life balance? Glassdoor reviews are full of "long working hours" and hence wanted to know if it's the same with non-consulting folks as well?
How far is it true across the organisation?
Please help me shed some light to decide.
Thanks.

I have a dilemma. I received two different job offers. One from a VERY good consulting firm, the other from a corporate company (pharmaceutical industry). Both in sustainability field, same salary. One 200km from home with possibility to work remotely most of the time (consulting), the other literally 850 meters from my house right now. The corporate company offers 6 months at first with the possibility to get a permanent contract afterwards. The consulting firm proposes a permanent contract. What should I do?

Can anyone please let me know how to submit resignation in EY India Technology Consulting.
I did try in SF -> Actions -> Terminate option
But it was sent back to me stating to discuss with SL HR. Is it the standard operating procedure?
When I try reaching HR there is no response on teams/email and when trying to reach mobile it is switched off.
Thanks in advance

I’m no expert, but if you’re joining GPS, I heard the winter/holidays months are pretty tough to get staffed on a project just in general
But how safe is to be on bench for few months given recent layoffs ? Are new joinees under more trouble if/when there’s a new round of layoff planned?
In other words, how safe is a new joinee’s job for the first 6-8 months is my question especially if I’m leaving behind a stable job for just around ~10% raise
