Thought I'd share another leadership opportunity, this time for industry leaders in the Tech & Digital sector. Would love to connect with anyone who is a senior leader (MD / SVP) with deep experience in this sector alongside leadership experience in a TA / Growth or Client Relationship environment. Amazing opportunity to further establish and grow our presence with global leaders in Tech.

What is the culture like, type of work and reputation of Capco in the Data & Analytics space?
I have some good ex colleagues who moved over there and also looked up on LinkedIn and see lots of seemingly smart and accomplished people in their D&A team in the UK.
I'll ask my ex colleagues too, but wanted to see if people here have any opinion or information on this too.
TIA

Have you tried seeing if Chat GPT can help you find skills in what you’re doing that would transfer?
Also maybe volunteer somewhere to get some experience.
It’s not easy for anyone right now. Good luck!

Smart. Volunteering is one of the best ways to get out and get hands on experience while networking. I recently made a video about this recently. Can doing Volunteering side quest, really Get You Hired?

That will only get you blacklisted. Be truthful when on the job hunt. Look into volunteering and other jobs that’s labor related.
Hi there,
I completely understand where you’re coming from. Transitioning from physical labor to an office role can feel like a big challenge, but it’s definitely possible, and there are entry-level opportunities out there.
One career path I’d recommend considering is becoming a QA engineer (Quality Assurance). It’s a field that often hires entry-level folks, and many of the skills you’ve developed in a warehouse, such as attention to detail, problem-solving, and following processes, are super valuable in QA roles. Plus, there are plenty of free resources and online courses to help you get started.
Another great way to break into the field is to be proactive in public communities like QA-focused forums, Reddit subreddits, or Slack groups for tech and QA professionals. Engaging in those spaces not only helps you learn but also connects you with potential mentors and job opportunities. I’ve seen a lot of people land their first tech jobs this way.
I may not be able to be fully responsible in this room, but I’ll definitely try to get back to you during my free slots. If you're interested in hearing more about how I got started in tech or want advice on QA, feel free to reach out. I’d be happy to chat!
I feel you on that. I myself work in warehouse, and it is getting so tiring. And on top of that my supervisor has been coming of me since I stated working there. My advise, is to be honest. and ask questions. Do they have on the job training, some office jobs, if you have to work with any software they should have on the job training.
Hey, I hear you. That situation sounds really frustrating.
Are you still actively on the way? Just curious where you are in the process, maybe I can point you in the right direction or help you figure out next steps.
I wanted to send you a PM but couldn’t find the option. 😅
Hi there! Could you share your contact so I can reach out?
