You can’t decide, but you can position yourself in certain roles. There is a big difference between someone who has done an end to end implementation vs someone who is working on break fix tickets.
The reason they’re asking you for S/4 experience is to see how recent your implementation experience is.
If you’re working in AMS for Cap - try to pivot to implementation work.
Yes , I agree. There can be a difference.
But how can anyone know the difference unless they have worked on both ECC & S4 hana. I had received 7-8 calls where I was asked about my experience in implementation and in S4 Hana. As I have not worked on any of these. I answered them as no and then there is no call back.
This is not only me but I have seen 100+ people asking this questions on LinkedIn.
I won't get release from the project. So the only option I have is to switch or else it gonna be worse.
