So I approached my boss about my vacation time and how it’s not accruing correctly in October she has yet to fix it and I’m over the fact of mentioning it every week to her. She also always pays me 8 hours holiday and decided to pay me 7.5 . I’m so frustrated and don’t know what to do . Help!

Hello everyone! How do you manage holiday pay when the holiday is on a Saturday/ Sunday. For example, if I have someone working on Christmas (Sunday), they should be paid 1.5 but what if they work on Monday as well?I know this might sound silly to some people but I’m covering for payroll for the holidays and I don’t want to mess up!

Starting a new job next month, and considering taking two days off for kids’ spring break next month. Not sure whether it’s appropriate to request time off for a new job (I would’ve preferred not to take any time off for first three months). I may just be able to just ask for a single Friday off (so 1 day rather than 2 days).

Any thoughts on whether I should proceed with the request? I just came from big law and want to make sure I’m not making a bad impression on my colleagues.

The firm I work for is not closing for the hurricane. Staff were told to work from home or take PTO if they could not come in to the office (and the building is now closed until Friday). Is this normal?!

a) I've been told virtual onboarding is no longer a thing.
How many days does in-person onboarding activities occur?
