No. My grandfather always drove a Cadillac. You know, what’s become of the Cadillac and Lincoln brands recently is sad compared to what they used to be.
I still remember having to use every bit of my strength to open the car door but it still some how squeaked like it was going to fall off. The interior was a cream color and the seats were freezing in the winter and our skin would almost melt to them in the summer...
My grandparents bought a new one about every 4 years.
My grandparents drove Camrys. I'm pretty sure they were trading in for a new one like every 2-3 years, which was insane in retrospect. Their car always had new car smell.
I think my grandpa had a Crown Victoria or Grand Marquis, same basic thing. It was blue with a velvety blue interior that seemed super common on 80s American cars.
