So tired of friends who work in totally different industries acting like I'm doing something wrong. They don't get that good accounting jobs can take a while to land, and interviews get dragged out for weeks. What do you say to people who keep asking why you don't just get a job?

How long does Oracle take to conduct second round of interview ? Is it communicated if we are rejected after first round ?

Also I have sent mail to join early but she is not responding for mails even hr(scheduled interviews) is not responding for calls

Can i get any clarification about this Would i get offer letter before that joining date or else they have gone with other candidate?

How are you guys handling your mental health with job rejections or not getting interviews? I’m trying to stay optimistic but it’s soul crushing to see people you know get better jobs when you have been on the job hunt for awhile. I understand not comparing yourself to others but it’s hard when you realize you’re at the bottom of the totem pole and everyone else around you is progressing.

Outside of salary, what other things have people negotiated as new hire, I’ve seen more PTO, working from home, sign on bonus, even stock options? How have you negotiated these things especially if you are new to negotiating? Any books or references that gave you a great foundation.
