There are a couple who are just always in a bad mood and seem to cause problems, no matter how great our staff treats them. It's like they wake up each day with the goal of making as many people feel as miserable as they are.

That reminds me of a lady who used to visit Walmart often. She was really old, walked with a stooped back, and had a walker loaded with bags. You’d naturally feel like helping her just by looking. One day I saw her struggling and offered a hand, but all I got was, “Do not touch my stuff, go away.” Honestly, it shocked me. After that, I learned my lesson and even warned others not to offer her help, no matter how much she seemed to need it.

Oh yeah, there’s always that one customer you spot and instantly think, “please not today.”
Yes, the ones I find toughest are those who stick to their principles even when they’re wrong. They’ll insist that rules should be bent for them because “the customer is always right.” It makes resolving the issue harder, especially when you know they’re asking for something unreasonable.
