We are all wonderfully and skillfully made by God. And Jesus is the author and finisher of our faith. As such, we shouldn't engage in these what if scenarios. God made each of us to be born at a specific place, a specific time, to a specific family, in specific circumstances. All of that is part of who we are.
I didn't say that there is no way for a Muslim to come to faith. I've met many that have. My point is that we are uniquely created by God and the specific aspects of our life are, well, specific to each one of us. It doesn't make sense to speculate how things would have turned out if we were a totally different person.
It’s normal to have questions and doubt, you need to be honest to God and yourself and make sure you find your answers. I was also born into a Christian family but there came a time in my life when I had my own questions, and until I started searching for answers that’s when I made my choice to follow Jesus because that’s what I believe not because that’s what my family believed.
Faith is a gift from God and strengthened by various people and factors.
Some people grow up in Christian families and communities where that faith is nurtured from childhood. Other people grow up in non-Christian families or communities and discover the faith through other means. Many good Christians around the world are converts to the faith. In general, there’s not much to be gained through wondering “what if” on that particular aspect.
What we can all do no matter our backgrounds is to learn more about our Christian beliefs and deepen our faith. The best tools for this are going to be reading the Bible and praying. Let the Word of God enter your heart and strengthen you.
Other steps are to read/learn/talk more about what is Christian teaching on various topics. And putting your Christian beliefs into action by leading a Christian life and doing good in your community.
