We’ve been attending a church for about 6 months now and trying to decide if it’s our church home. The only reason I’m hesitant is because people don’t seem to engage with us as much as I expected. My aunt recently passed away, leaving behind 2 young girls (16 and 12 years old). I’m trying my best to be there for them and pray for them, and have been asking people to pray for them as well. Until I started question what is the point of asking people to pray for them? I know God hears my prayers, so why do we ask people to pray ?
