They complement each other and harvest more traffic by each taking up space on the SERP. Doing one and ignoring the other is foolish and leaving a lot on the table

Good SEO could mean a lot of different things, but most of them will help SEM.
- Well structured page content should increase ad & kw relevancy -> hopefully lower bounce rate
- relevant website content should improve keyword rank -> somewhat lower cpc
- good technical SEO improves page load time -> increasing rank and significantly better conversion rate
... and the list goes on.

good SEM on the other hand will attract quality visitors, which should have positive impact on overall site performance.

SEM&SEO is a match made in heaven 🙂

If any of you are working on Ocean Spray, your OLA has a major ad collision problem today. I literally never buy Ocean Spray nor have I visited the website and almost every banner on the web for me today is an Ocean Spray logo (which I'm assuming is the default).
