Have an offer for a SM strategy role in industry. Offer is coming in at 280- 300 TC. Total experience 10+ years, 7 YOE at MBB, T5 MBA, MCOL city. Am I being low balled? Should I continue to search for something better?

How long did it take you to find the right position the first time you went in-house? I am 5 months into it and regretting turning down the (lowball) offer I got a couple months ago.

So as a 30ish yo with a government/PE/tech background and CIPM/CIPP… I’m finding privacy work is just much easier and interesting than other kinds, but still pays plenty well.

Is it too late/inadvisable to go to law school to specifically aim for privacy work?

Looking for advice (& empathy): Started out in advertising, then became a journalist. Moved to the US for grad school, and back to advertising few years ago. Now stuck at a company where I’m deeply unhappy but they sponsor the visa (not H1B, so it’s not a huge ask). Also not too sure of advertising as my heart is still in journalism but this pays the bills.
