Sometimes I feel I ask and talk too much. I struggle with how much and when to speak, especially during meetings. I am focused on aligning expectations early to avoid miscommunication later but is that a good strategy? Clarity saves time for everyone but how is that relevant to hiring processes? How are expectations usually clarified during hiring? I appreciate direct conversations.

Seems obvious but would love some ideas on standard operating procedures that help with seamlessly handing over a signed contract to the account team. My goal was always to get into a more broad HRBP position, but I've since worked for smaller orgs without a solid HR career path. When I ask about my career goals, they keep telling me, "Soon!" Or "Maybe in 6 months!"
