Honestly, good. Treating our allies like dirt should rightfully be punished.

I agree with CVS. Truly an…

ENIGMA

Who cares, Israel will make up for it by investing trillions in the US! And we don’t have to pay them anything at all.

likefunny

So the trillions the US has given Israel will be given back? Cool

Literally nothing in OP’s statement is true. Where do you get your news?

Why are you lying? Quick fact check shows they were not legal and authorized

Get an EAD if you want to work.

Of course this is true because that’s how companies make multi-billion dollar investments. 🙄

I meant that they will make good business decisions. Cultural distinctions are important but corporations make decisions that maximize returns. If “other financial systems” provide a better return, that doesn’t change the basic assumptions. Nothing dated about that. History is littered with people who think they invented some new paradigm. Technology changes how business is done but investment is still about return. When irrational group think kicks in, however, you have ZZZZ Best, Enron, HealthSoutn, Theranos, real estate bubbles, etc.

Reverse bubbles - basically what you’re describing - are rare… Failure to make the right investment for non business reasons is very unlikely.

This leaves a $25b investment opportunity for Americans and American workers. If it's so lucrative, PE will fill the void.

Better step it up quickly. 8,000 Georgians we're counting on those jobs.

More fake pot stirring by OP. All who responded without fact checking OP’s post need to do a little homework before getting outraged and/or congratulating yourselves on your political positions.

D1 that’s just playing euphemisms

Putting people in chains and locking them up in a “detention center” - what else would you call that

No different than when the WH comments on an Israeli “strike” in Doha.

Source? Because I’m not seeing that anywhere in the news.

MAGA!

I don’t think this incident alone will change things but if it continues, it may have consequences. If I was a Korean citizen and see these things happening repeatedly, I would consider voting for a party that may be tougher on US relations. Not sure if accumulating hate from the world is helpful in the long term

While the immigration raid has strained U.S.-South Korea relations and prompted South Korean companies to reassess their operations in the U.S., there is no evidence to support the claim that $25 billion in investments have been withdrawn.

My final round with Deloitte for UK Tech Consulting Manager position soon. Strangely it’s not a PMD round as it usually is for other Big4/tech consulting firms.
1. Can anyone tell me if they’ve been through the whole process without speaking to PMD? (First round Sr Manager, second Case Interview by a manager and third again by a manager) 2. What is a typical salary to expect? I was asked in screening but kept it vague (e.g can discuss later bla bla). I was hoping 75-80 (ridiculous?)

Not all the time or even most of the time compared to better candidates with specific experience for the role but gives you this wildcard shot at a vast array of opportunities.
