That’s very low. I made that as a 3rd year at a midsized firm in NJ. Will make double that as a 6th year with no billables and decent WLB in house.
Yup. Base $225k, 25% bonus, plus 6% 401k match and some other smaller comp like $110/m for my phone.
At Littler, Fisher Phillips and Ogletree you would be making 250k-300k base. Big Law would be about 500k. At my small firm I make 277k with 6 years experience. Depends where you work I guess.

Are you solely EPLI?
If you are hitting your hours (somewhere in the 1800-1950 range) and can run your cases with limited oversight (which I would expect with your experience) and the bulk of your work is not at an hourly rate beginning with a $2, you should be able to negotiate a better salary. Even if business development is not your thing, a solid litigation attorney that can be relied upon to run the cases and does good work is valuable to the firm. Additionally, if you are helping to train more junior attorneys, you have value which in my opinion, can warrant a higher salary with those metrics.
Decent salary if in LCOL to MCOL market. Otherwise, you should look to jump for at least a 25% salary increase.
