The black SMP is iconic and an excellent choice for an everyday or only watch. Lots of relatively inexpensive options out there. The white is visually striking and would be my recommendation for someone who already has a black dial watch and is looking for something a little more elevated to add to the collection.

Agree, I have black hesalite. It has a different look than sapphire. One day I will add the white dial as well. My take is that you get the heritage with hesalite and the modern with sapphire sandwich and white dial
But why you like the most now and then see if you still want the other in 2-3 years
