You need to ask for an immediate increase to match new hires if you’re training people that make more than you. Be ready to jump ship to get that pay if you don’t get it.
I had gotten promoted years ago with no increase. I was underpaid before the promotion. They claimed they just didn’t have the funds.
I left for a 25k increase for a fully remote role. (This was back in 2007). Suddenly, they were able to offer the pay increase I asked for. Of course, I did not take it. Companies will take advantage if you allow it.

100% get out of your current role, I know now might not be the best time with all the current lay offs from various companies but being a decade in and not making 6 figures is ridiculous

But also yeah OP time to skate. I hit 6 figures in my 6th year by hopping around (unintentionally mostly, but it worked out). No degree or anything either.
What do you do for a living? If you’re a decade in and not making at least six figures, you should ADORE what you do to the point that it’s not a job or be working for yourself and likely part time. Are you networking both internally and externally? Either way, get the hell out of there.
I started out as an Analyst at the bottom too. Almost 2 decades in I did break 6 figures a number of years ago now it’s the next step partner or director. But I hear you. I think sometimes those of us that came up through the system are under valued compared to the bright new shiny team member.

Unfortunately, certain roles have ceilings in terms of comp. If you want to progress and start making more, you have to acquire new skills and pivot to something else.
The best advice I could give someone, or even myself 10+ years ago is... Be proactive in your career, manage it, know your worth, do research and be aggressive. NO ONE is going to hand you crap if you're silent and don't ask for more opportunity and more money. The worst thing I did in my career for the first 15 years of it... Was work my ass off, take on more, and never ask for more money. Thinking my work would just eventually pay off. Companies don't reward people like that. They just give them more work.
Learn from my mistakes.
I once got a title bump to director with a wopping 10k increase to 90k and accidentally got added to all payroll not just my peoples payroll and saw my boss was making $250k. …. I quit not to long after….. used the new title for a pay bump worthy of it.

Lol, you definitely framed this up as if you were an anomaly, but conveniently omitted the fact that you started as an EA (which very reasonably explains your low comp relative to most others at McK that aren’t in a back office support function).

$30k?? We're you serving ice cream? My second job outta college I was making $130k, with 2 years of experience with a reasonable cost of living. If you have been at it a decade and haven't crack $100k at a large firm it's time to go shopping for a new job
I started out at 35k and didn't make 6 figures until I jumped to a new company 5 years later. Just do the math, with a 35k start and a (generous, unrealistic) assumption that every year, there is a 10% raise, it would take 12 years to break 6 figures. Is it unfair? Yes. Do kids these days start out making more? Yup. Jumping to a new company every several years is the only way to keep up. And I'm not a job jumper, I like staying put. I could be making a lot more if I had jumped more often. Just have to find the right balance. If you don't like your salary, it's time to go.
Good luck! I'm rooting for you. No shame in starting in a different role and working your way up. And if you happen to love your boss and your team, it's also OK to stay. Just be honest with boss about what you deserve, so if you decide you need to move on, it'll be because you know you did all you could to stay and it's just time to do something new.
