Hi, I'm leaving Citi in 2 months. It's hard to make this decision. I have an offer from a small startup. In citi, my previous experience was not considered and was reskilled to different tech which is the reason for change.I don't like to exit citi. As I like the company so much. But considering my current knowledge,I am in the middle of the sea.I am afraid now that the new company's offer would be revoked due to this recession?Or can I take back my resignation in citi before the last working day.Is this wise decision?
Can anyone provide me a referral to Linkedin?
Accenture Hello, I need some assistance from anyone here working in Accenture. I had worked in 2019. However I had to leave the firm due to medical issues before my probationary period. There was Full and final settlement to be done to the firm to receive my Relieving letter. Due to certain medical reasons I had not done the final settlement during my exit period. Whether it's possible to make the settlement now & receive relieving letter. This is very much needed for me, please can anyone help
Hey Fishbowl community! I currently work as a Sales Support Specialist with 3 YOE working at a SaaS company. My dream career is to work at Microsoft or Google. I am open to different opportunities that exceed 80k+ per year. I also have a BA in Business Admin. If anyone can refer me to a great remote position I would greatly appreciate it! 😀
I’m interviewing for final round of the entry level area manager position at Amazon. I’m working on multiple stories related to the leadership principles. Can anyone provide me some tips regarding the role?
There are 16 leadership principle and I’m thinking of creating some stories around each but the thing that concerns me is what if the questions they ask are related to the same principle and I might have already used up my stories. Something like that. Can anyone please help? Amazon

McKinsey & Company I am joining the McKinsey & Company Boston office in late July and searching for housing in the meantime. If I could get some insight on the ratio of days in the office vs work from home that would be super helpful!
If I need to come into the office regularly I will try to find a place close by.

Absolutely. One year out of undergrad is harder imo than 3-4 years out.
Why do you think this? Just curious
Don’t get down, sometimes it’s not your time. It doesn’t take much to be dinged.
I struck out with MBB and all T2’s / boutiques in 2014 with 3YOE.
Applied again this year, got BB offers + T2s. Never felt out of depth in casing.
If you’ve done your case prep well, it’ll influence how you think and address problems in your work - essentially practicing every day.
Try again in a couple of years time!’
Don’t feel bad. I struck out on two; one last year and one earlier this year. I performed horrendously.
Aside the money, maybe ask yourself why you really want MBB? Does the work seem like something you’ll enjoy or are you just doing it for “prestige”? Personally I don’t really care about anything but the money but I also learnt that maybe that line of work isn’t for me. Ask yourself these questions.
A different view would just be to study very hard for the case interviews (I’m assuming that’s the main reason you struck out) and try again next year. I barely studied and that’s why I did horribly. Chances are if I actually studied properly, I still wouldn’t have gotten in. Ask yourself these questions.
Chin up though, you have a job (I’m assuming) and MBB shouldn’t define who you. It’s normal to feel down but don’t for too long - walk it off this weekend!
Don't lose hope! I just got a pretty good MBB offer after 1 YOE. However, trust me it's not worth feeling low. So many better jobs out there!! I'm still recruiting :)
Go for an MBA and try again in a couple years. You won’t “lose time” compared to homegrown consultants who take an MBA leave.
Try Tier 2! Can refer you to EYP which pays same as MBB
I am an experienced hire that came from B4 - I would say ask yourself why you want to switch - if it’s cause you like consulting industry as a whole and want to stay it’s definitely worth trying again but if it’s just for prestige or think MBB will change your life or etc - it’s really not that glamorous lol it’s same ppt, excel with smaller teams and more intense workload - and pay comes at the price of work hours and intensity
I’m not questioning your capabilities at all either - I believe anyone with right prep can get an offer but I’m just saying this as I personally question my decision at times to switch rather than go to try something completely different
