I got laid off from my job as an account manager at a SAAS company. I’ve been applying non stop for similar jobs in saas for the past 2 months and I’m not having a lot of success with interviews. Either not getting them or not getting an offer because they go with a candidate with more experience (I have 1 year experience). Any advice for companies to apply to or with getting an offer despite not having as many years experience as others?

SHRM vs HRCI? I haven’t heard as much on HRCI HR Management certification. Do people ever get both? Does help to even have the certification from HRCI?

I was offered a promotion but due to internal policies the max comp they could offer was way under market value. I countered and was denied. I took time to think about it, being disappointed I applied for other jobs. Monday came and I decided to accept the offer. A week before starting my new position I got a call for one of the jobs I applied for. I am now going through to the last round of interviews the same week I start my new position. Would it be bad practice to accept another offer now?

I am taking the PHR for the first time next month. Looking for tips/strategy for studying!

I have been an HR assistant for 2 years in the public sector 80% staffing 20% recruiting, I want to break out into the private sector and have 5+ interviews but never seen grab there attention. Recruiters have told me that I interview well, Any Advice?? I have also gotten a Hr management Cert and working on my PHR.

I’m mid-level in my HR career at my current company and an upcoming Master’s graduate. Studying for my SHRM-CP too. How did you make the transition to that next level? What skills do you need, or is it really just based on YOE (I am the youngest compared to my teammates, many who have 10+ YOE)? I feel like career pathing is not very clear at my company. Each time I ask for guidance on this from my manager, I get told they’ll look into it.... would love some external mentorship and thoughts 🙏🏼

Stay with current company or move up-market before going AE/management? Currently top SDR/BDR at SaaS company selling to SMBs w/option to move to SDR management or AE. Also have offers to move to larger SaaS companies at the Enterprise level still as BDR

My position in sales, growing existing accounts with my company, is being eliminated in October. I either take a bit of a pay cut to do something really similar but more stable on the service side, or move to new business (which is not attractive to me), or I find something new. Is it fair they are having me interview just to basically keep my position after 7 years of doing it successfully meeting targets? Or is it time for me to look elsewhere?

How would you recommend moving from recruiting into a learning and development role?

SalesForce folks, a recruiter reached out for an opportunity to interview for a AE position in my specialty. I noticed there is also an opp available locally for a Strategic Account Manager in my vertical as well.
Any one know of pay difference between the two, responsibilities/expectations, how they are viewed in the org itself?
I understand they are different but in my job today, I handle both roles so can go in either direction.

Is there a way to verify an email address without sending emails? I need to verify A TON of emails, but don’t need to actually send them emails myself.

Hello everyone! My co-worker and I are preparing for the SHRM certification exam and Hoping to take it in December. I’m looking to purchase the SHRM learning system books from someone that has already taken the exam this year. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Has anyone taken a sabbatical? What was your company's policy? What was your experience like making the request?

As I get older, I'm beginning to realize how little personal time I have since so much of my time and attention is consumed by work. Working from home has dramatically improved my life, but I have begun to feel rooted to a single corner of my home with little variety. I want to have experiences in the world that 10 days of vacation simply can't provide.
