Consulting and audit and most big firms is a bit of a dice roll - your experience can vary drastically depending on who your manager is and what project and practice you land in.
There are also incredible, smart, reasonable people at every firm - I'd push on this a little bit; do you not feel supported by your manager? Are you looking for more visibility? Does your project suck? All of these things can be fixed - but you have to speak up.
And the best part? People respect you when you advocate for yourself. You are the driver of your own career, and if you outline a clear case for where you want to grow, it's pretty much your manager's only job to make that happen due to the nature of consulting (PMs/EMs overseeing day to day work).

If you've been on this account for close to the full six months, I think it's more than acceptable to ask to switch to something else if your goals aren't being met.
If we're being strategic, I'd recommend you start going to the all-practice/industry meetups and meeting people on other accounts, signaling your interest in moving. Meet up with partners and chat. Try and identify where you might jump TO.
It'll be way easier to sell a roll-off if you have another gig ready to go - bonus points if that project is on some sort of large/strategic priority account. If you can sell the roll-off as a win-win for both you and your firm, they can't say no.
