Taking inspo from another post… for this Halloween, anyone have any work horror stories?

I’ll start. Very early in my career, I was supporting a massive conference held by one of our clients. At 5:30am the day of the event, our keynote speaker (who was supposed to go on at 10:30am) dropped out, and we had to not only find a replacement, but update all materials & write their talking points. It was such a nightmare 4 hours and I realized I am not cut out for events.

Should you discuss salary range with an internal company recruiter prior to setting up an interview? With external recruiters it’s pretty easy to talk about the expected range. When I spoke with HR she said that their was some confusion and with name and they have send wrong offer letter but except my CTC and joining date everything was same my email id, my home address everything. And now I have been asked to wait, HR says they will raise again. And its been 3 days now I can not accept the previous offer also and I cant even resign from my current company. What should I do?

Female here and I hate to say it! But whenever I’m pull to a new project I secretly hope I don’t get a female lead. 😞 I had some interesting experiences with women leads, which it does not apply to all women!, but I feel a bit hesitant and I feel is ptsd lol how can I overcome this mentality?! I’m pro women and equally etc etc but I often rather deal with a dude lead Bc we women are so hard on each other. Smh 🤦🏽‍♀️
