The best way to train your pet is NOT yelling at it. If you wouldn't like a stranger treating your animal that way, then how can you justify doing so yourself?

Those are the kinds of people who are not ready to take on the responsibility of pet care. Or they don't want to put in the effort. I've been working for ten years, and it's not the animals that make me hate my job, but their owners.

Yelling is never a good way of training any animal. It's an aggressive behavior that even animals can adapt.

I respond to what he is barking at every time. usually effective I simply turn to face the door and calmly reply, "Okay, I got it," before returning to what I was doing. He simply wants me to be aware that something is acting in an unusual way.

Since I've worked with dogs professionally for so long, I've come to the unexpected conclusion that they don't even consciously realize they're barking. When people correct dogs for barking, they're really just correcting them for their feelings since they just bark as a natural reaction to how they're feeling at that particular moment.

Rewarding your dog when it doesn't bark is the best approach to train it. Unfortunately, this requires a lot of time and work, so most people fall back on penalizing the bad behavior instead of praising the good.

I usually use positive reinforcement, but there have been moments when I've lost all patience because I was so worn out, upset, and frustrated. Some days it's incredibly difficult.

There are other methods of teaching your dog outside the traditional dominance training that some people, especially the older generation, prefer. Yes, it will take more time, but I believe the effort will be well worth it.

Dogs learn more from positive reinforcements. They know how to get treats and do what they need to do to get those treats.

I hate when people yell at their dogs. I know I can't tell anyone how to make their dog behave but I try to suggest that petting them or rubbing them will give them better results

Some people are patient enough to train their dogs and should just let a professional do it. They get frustrated and lash out on the pet

There are a myriad of ways on how to teach your pet how to behave properly. Yelling is much different from saying a command in a stern manner. Learn the difference.
