The company I work for is being “acquired” by a prominent company (will not name at this time). I received an offer for Associate Creative Director at management level, however the offer is significantly less than the recruiter originally quoted me (she was aware of my experience etc when she originally quoted). Also, this base salary offer is less than my current salary and industry standard. I’ve been told there’s not really room for negotiation. Is this a red flag? Any advise is appreciated.

Without having the formal education or PM experience, only my 5 years in QA experience. When I started I made $65k and have jumped to $78k. I have seen other companies post $100k+.
