Ucla seems to have good pay from what I see on the job descriptions but kaiser only shows pay grade. Ucla has pension and a raise it seems every year. But I was alao told kaiser offers a dollar each year as a raise. I want a place I can grown and stsy Long term. Any one have any insight on kaiser and what they offered.UCLA Health Kaiser Permanente

My old job had what they called summer hours and you could choose Monday or Friday off as long as one person on the team was in. I was a Monday off kind of person. I don't have that now, but I get 6 weeks PTO a year so I take Wednesdays off and just hang out by the pool. That's my sister in laws day off so that's why it's a weird choice.

They really wanted to hire me so that the extra time off was something they threw in there to entice me over. ☺️
I'm so jealous, any amount of time off on Friday sounds like a dream! I'll be working 9-5 tomorrow and daydreaming about the weekend. Any fun plans for your Friday afternoon??

Awwwnn....
Unfortunately, no fun plans 😭😅
We have summer hours too and I’m so thankful for them! We started them at the beginning of the month and it’s half days on Fridays, sometimes the whole day off depending on what is going on. Really makes a huge difference getting to enjoy the nice weather!

Glorious is the right word!
I work a 9/80 schedule so I get every other Friday off year-round.

That's pretty interesting!
No Friday's off here... even got hints to work on the recent Federal Holiday... Nope.. I stayed home. This is not a happy place to work...
