They haven’t lost Geico [yet]. Geico was doing an agency review but paused it not too long ago. As OP said, it’s probably going to happen soon.
They’ve had some quiet layoffs as well. That’s coming from a few friends I know that are there or have been laid off recently.
years of steady "quiet layoffs" just a few at a time so it doesn't cause panic or get out on the street that there's no leadership - just ego's flanked by kids.
Hoak tuah!
You made my day!

I’ve heard it’s been rough since their new CCO took over.
New CMO for Geico. Seems inevitable. Don't get me wrong. Rooting for them but it's been a long, slow fall. The quality of the work isn't close to the Mike Hughes days.
They made John Norman Mike Hughes’ successor.

Did they lose Geico? Or are you just adding to the “rumors”? Papa John’s is notorious for jumping ship. Martin made the brand’s best work in the past decade.
It's likely their inclusion mission. Companies have decided that they can finally admit that they do not care about inclusion.
So true -- the mission statement was on everything but 100% ignored in practice
What’s the latest on the bloodbath happening at Martin / Superjoy?!
What happened to the old CCO?
It’s called a 9 box and it’s not unique to Martin by any means. It’s been around a long time and used by many Fortune 500 companies. Sounds like there are clearly some issues to work through but using a 9 box ain’t it.
Not a big fan of their work usually but it’s unfortunate timing with the incoming merger
