The mental gymnastics of OE can be exhausting & humbling at times with juggling multiple schedules, attending meetings, and completing your duties within a reasonable amount of time.

Don't get me wrong, the income is worth it, especially if there are bonuses. You also have the opportunities to negotiate your pay, pick your location, and build skills.

What other advantages/disadvantages exist with OE?

Interviewed for a GS-15 (same agency but different office) and totally aced the interview with excellent answers. They know I’m a top performer with senior references. First round cleared in november 2021, then HR called after 2 months for second round in Jan 22, now discusses the salary after 2-3 weeks and then again says to get back.

Currently have J1 as current employer used The work one for my BC. I looked at Equifax/ The work one to see if J2 uses that service, fortunately they don’t.
Question - if J2 runs a BC for J1 and Finds out I am still employed isn’t that a red flag?
